Parallels Installation Text-Only Guide

How to Migrate from Citrix Workspace to Parallels Client

Follow these steps to install and set up Parallels Client for Windows:

1. Open a browser and go to https://ras.cloudtopremote.com/
2. Click "Download Client" (top right).
3. On the download page, click "Download" under "Download Parallels Client for Windows".
4. Run the downloaded file. When prompted, choose "Install Full Client".
5. Click "Next".
6. Accept the license agreement, click "Next" twice.
7. Enable the Customer Experience Program (or Disable, your choice).
8. Choose where to create shortcuts, then click "Next".
9. Select "Do not install Single Sign-On component" and click "Next".
10. Click "Install".
11. Click "Finish" on the Setup Wizard.
12. Open Parallels Client. Click "Create Connection".
13. Enter the server address: **ras.cloudtopremote.com**
14. Click "Connect". Enter your username and password, then click "Connect".
15. Click "OK" on the Welcome message.
16. Double-click any app to open it. 
17. Feel free to uninstall the Citrix Workspace application via "Add or Remove Programs", you will no longer need it.

Warning

You may see a security alert. You can safely check "Do not ask me again" and click "Yes".
