You have the ability to access your Citrix account through a browser. This lets you avoid installing the Citrix Workspace, but it involves some restrictions:
- You will not be able to save files to your local drives
- You will not be able to print
- Your applications will run in a tab on the browser, not in a separate window
Most users will only use the browser method if they are trying to avoid installing any software on a machine (in a hotel business center, at a tradeshow kiosk, a borrowed machine, etc.). For regular use, installing the Citrix Workspace is the preferred method.
To use this method, open a browser, navigate to
https://my.cloudtopoffice.com , enter your Citrix credentials (we sent them to you in a "Welcome Letter"), and click on "Log On".
Click on "Use light version".
For our example, click on the File Explorer app.
The File Explorer will open in a separate tab.
