After speaking to Quickbooks Support, you might receive advice that something needs to be done on the server. As as hosting provider, we have about 100 other companies using the same servers you are using. The fact that none of them have reported problems of the same nature would most likely eliminate a backend issue. This initial advice might be a workable solution for end users running Quickbooks locally, but not necessarily for hosting providers.
Here's how we approach this type of problem - we need to prove that it's the server before ripping it apart.
1) We will give you one of our other servers to test. If the problem continues then that would indicate an issue the file itself rather than the server.
2) After that, we suggest you run internal file maintenance on the company file - we can help with this.
3) Then we can run the Quickbooks Tool Hub after hours so you can try again, just to eliminate the server from the equation.
4) After that we can give you the Quickbooks File Doctor to try and repair issues with the file
5) After that, if you still have the issue, and since we have tried several servers, our suggestion would be for you to install the Quickbooks program on your local machine and try again.
If the problem continues after these steps, it's a pretty good case for going back to Intuit and escalating the issue.
