Restoring an Existing Quickbooks Backup File
If you sent us your Quickbooks company backup files, you will need to restore them before you can start using Quickbooks.
- Open Quickbooks
- Click on "Open or restore an existing company"
- Select "Restore a backup copy" and click Next
- Select "Local backup" and click Next
- Click on "This PC" in the left-hand panel
- Open your "Q:" drive in the Network Locations section
- Open the Accounting folder
- Select your backup file, and click Open
- Click Next
- Enter the name you would like the restored the company file to have and click Save
- The restored company file will open
