Trouble Exporting Quotes into Quickbooks
If you're unable to export Quotes to Quickbooks, there are two possible causes:
1) If only one user is having the problem, it is usually because they started Quotewerks first or that Quickbooks was not signed on to the company file;
2) If it's not working for anyone, the best thing to do would be to re-establish the Quickbooks "trust" with the QuoteWerks app. Follow these steps:
- Open your company file as Admin in single-user mode
- Start Quotewerks and click on the Quickbooks button (upper-right)
- Click on the Setup button (lower-left).
- You will see a message from Quickbooks asking if Quotewerks should have access rights to interact with your company file. Choose "Yes, whenever this Quickbooks company file is open" and then click Continue.
- Now retry the export to Quickbooks.
