Citrix Workspace Crashes or becomes non responsive. -
Update 12/6 - We have resolved this issue on the server side. But most computers will need to "cleanup" the Workspace installation on their computer. If you continue to have this issue, there are three possible fixes. Please start with 1 and only go to 2 or 3 if you continue to have an issue.
During Business hours we are available do do this for you via remote session.
3) If neither of the above options resolve your issue, you may want to use the Citrix Cleanup tool - more complex - you may want us to do this one if it's required.
In the meantime, here are ways to continue to work for you.
ALTERNATIVE OPTION Citrix Web Access
you can use Citrix Web Access- Citrix Web does not allow for Printing or Saving local files but it will work.
If you are unable to use Citrix WorkSpace or if you are having Issues with Citrix Workspace, you can use a version of Citrix through a web browser like Chrome, Firefox or Edge (Or Safari)
If this happens to you, the Citrix Web Client Access is to use the Web client for Citrix:
- Open a browser
- Log in with your Citrix credentials
Make sure after logging in that you choose the LIGHT CLIENT if you are having issues with Workspace. (if you have already chosen the option to detect receiver - Go to settings at the top right of the web page and then to Account Settings and then Change Workspace App - Here you can choose USE LIGHT VERSION)
