Some Quickbooks users with Gmail accounts have reported having issues with Webmail Authorization:
Gmail considers Quickbooks to be a "Less Secure App (LSA)". If you use Gmail, you can turn on a feature called "Less Secure App Access":
- Open Chrome from your Citrix Workspace (not from your local machine).
- Logon to your Gmail account.
- Click on the Manage your Google Account button.
- Navigate to the Security section.
- Scroll down to the "Less secure app access" section.
- Click on "Turn on access (not recommended)".
- Click on the Send button to receive a verification code.
- Enter the verification code and click the Next button.
- Turn the switch on to allow the less secure apps to run.
- Click the left arrow to return to the Security screen.
- Now start Quickbooks and add your e-mail account. How? - Now return to the Gmail security screen and allow the security exception that will come from Quickbooks.
