Setting Up Quickbooks to Work with Web-based E-mail

Here's how to setup your company file to work with your webmail  (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.):

Before you get started:

  • QuickBooks can auto-fill settings for Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail.  You will just need your e-mail address and password.
  • For other providers, contact your ISP to verify your webmail server name and the correct port setting.
  • Most webmail providers will require two-step verification in order to complete the setup.

Set-up your e-mail:
 
  1. Click on the  Edit menu and then select Preferences.
  2. Select Send Forms.
  3. Select Web Mail Providers and then click the Add button.



  1. Fill out the Add Email Info and select OK.
  2. Select OK to save your changes.
